Nutrition
Proper nutrition is the single most important aspect of a healthy life. A healthy body must be able to reproduce, grow, regulate, repair and defend. Proper
nutrition willl supply all the vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, enzymes, probiotics and antioxidants needed for a healthy life.
The source of the nutrients is important and they can only be obtained from whole living food stuffs. If the whole living food stuffs are not fortified the
source becomes inadequate and one must revert to whole living food supplements.
Natural longevity is what we are all striving for which means approaching the life span of 120 years without the use of drugs, surgery and high technical and
sophisticated equipment and artificial organs. This natural longevity when practically understood points back to the basic necessities of life (vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, enzymes, probiotics,
antioxidants, fresh water, air and sunlight) obtained best from natural sources.
Since this nutritional plug is for the nutrients derived from dairy products, the discussion will be limited to that. It will also include remarks on how the
nutrients expected in dairy products could be low or missing in this day and age.
All dairy products are derived from some form of processing of whole milk. Milk is a secretion produced by the mammary system of all mammals. The secretion
(milk) will be abundant in nutrients if the cow is adequately supplied through the diet. If milk is the only food new borns live and grow on for the first few months of life the nutritional value must be complete.
Cow's milk is very similar to humans and therefore its food value would be the same for humans as for calves. It has been mentioned that cows living on a proper and adequate diet will supply whole raw milk that is
rich in vitamins, amino acids, fatty acids, minerals, enzymes, probiotics, antioxidants and colostrum.
I would like to elaborate on a few of milk's ingredients that have or could have great impact on our health if they are obtained through whole raw milk.
Milk Minerals
Minerals are essential nutrients found in living and non-living things such as rocks, dirt and water which are considered inorganic because they contain no

carbon. The mammalian body uses more than 60 minerals, but 22 of them are considered essential for life. Minerals are essential for all mammalian creatures
for maintaining all physiological processes in preserving the health and function of the heart, brain, muscles, nervous system, hormone system, skin, hair, collagen formation, vision, reproduction, skeletal system
and minerals also function as co-enzymes which act as catalysts for numerous biological reactions in the body.
Minerals belong to two major categories; macro or bulk minerals (calcium, magneisium, sodium, potassium and phosphorus), micro or trace minerals (zinc, iron,
manganese, chromium, selenium and iodine).
Minerals are not damaged by pasturization or high temperatures as are proteins, vitamins, enzymes. However, mineral absorption and assimilation must follow
the specific laws of nature.
God has a beautiful and perfect ecological system for mineral consumption, absorption and assimilation. The soil provides for plant development and function
and the plant activity converts the hydrophobic (water insoluable) elemental soil minerals to a hydrophilic ionic (water soluable) form that all mammalians are meant to consume. This process makes available to the
cow the hydrophilic ionic mineral form for proper absorption and assimilation whereby the cow's physiological needs are met and their byproduct, milk is fortified with minerals for the consumer (calf, humans etc).
Whole, raw, fortified cow's milk is a natural food form that assures that the calcium, phosphorous and magnesium are present in the best form and ratio for optimal absorption and assimlation.
Calcium, phosphorous, potassium and magnesium in their natural and proper proportions are probably the most important of the many minerals that are required
by the body for optimal health. They are required by every organ and for every function in the body. They play a key role in the prevention of cancer, cardiovascular disease, muscle and nerve function, clotting
mechanisms, skeletal development and maintenance and are abundant in whole cow's milk.
Calcium is considered the biological king as far as minerals are concerned. The body is 90% calcium. Calcium is the mineral that makes the cell alkaline
(7.2-8.5) which enhances the absorption of oxygen which then in turn promotes good health and prevents glucose clevage and the begining of aging, cancer and other degenerative processes. Calcium also prevents the
begining of atherosclerosis in cardiovascular disease by preventing arterial wall irritation and inflamation. Calcium is required for every function in the body. Since calcium is a macro mineral and is not made by
the body it must be ingested in the appropiate form to be absorbed by the body and that form would be in its natural state through milk and other dairy products.

Unfortunately, ignorance, greed and poor farming practices have caused the depletion since 1965 of our once mineral rich soil and therefore caused the
mineral, calcium, magnesium and potassium deficiency in the plants we and animals are meant to eat further causing the depletion of these minerals in the animals we eat and the dairy products they produce, all of
which ultimately affects us humans. As you can see the depleted soil sets up a cascade affect, resulting currently in that our society is nationally 87% calcium deficient. A large percent of humans do not drink or
eat dairy products which contribute largely to the 87% deficiency percentage and those that do consume adequate dairy products may still be deficient because of the possibilty that the cow's diet maybe deficient.
The whole raw milk should be analyzed by the dairy to be sure the cow's diet is satisfactory. Whole, raw, fortified cow's milk will contain all the natural enzymes and lactase which allows the lactose componet to be
digested and prevents the gas and pain that some poeple experience with dairy products.
Magnesium and potassium are minerals which are also deficient in athletes, elderly, pregnant women, dieters and those that exercise regularly and strenuously.
Magneisum in proper proportions with calcium and potassium are the main minerals responsible for maintaining proper cardiac rhythms normal blood pressure and preventing muscle cramps, clotting problems, irritability
and rage. Magnesium is also a critical mineral for over 325 known biochemical reactions. Magnesium deficiency can also be associated with; anxiety, arthritis, chronic fatique, constipation, insomnia, osteoporosis,
pms, stress, tension, hypoglycemia, hypertension, headahes, A.D.D. and hyperactivity in children and adults and depression. Cigarette smoking, caffeine (coffee, tea, sodas etc), drugs and alcohol are a major cause
of magnesium deficiency.
Vitamins B12, B6 and folate are ingested and produced by a healthy cow's intestinal tract and are made available to the milk. An amino acid homocysteine
circulating in human blood requires these vitamins to transform it to methionine and cysteine for proper use and elimination. Without these vitamins homocysteine levels will rise causing arterial wall injury which
sets up for plaque formation, abnormal clotting and ultimately cardiovascular disease. Nutrutionally fortified cows will produce nourishing, fortified milk.
Milk lipids (fats)
The cream fraction (fat) (phospholipids) of milk has major health benefits. The beta-lipid fraction contains high levels of the essential and beneficial omega-3 and omega-4 fatty acids. The beta-lipid fraction also
contains a special hydrophilic (water loving) molecular property that makes them soluable in water since milk is 80% water. The beta-lipid fraction also has an abundance of different phospholipids such as phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylethanolamine, sphingomyelin that have very important physiological

benefits to our health. They aid in absorption, allow only the passage of molecules important to cellular processes, aid rigidity to cell membranes, elevate
mood and reduce symptoms of depression, aid hormone synthesis, protect the liver from toxic damage (alcohol, drugs, viruses), a good source of energy, an excellent source of choline, a precursor to the
neurotransmitter acetylcholine essential for normal brain function, muscle action, and nerve impulses in the body.
Milk Colostrum
Scientists and natural doctors have recognizied the health benefit of milk and its componet colostrum as the first food of life for new born mammals for
years. Just imagine the birth of a weak and helpless calf into a cold environment with it's only source of food being whole milk with colostrum. This fragile new birth makes its dramatic transition from weakness to
strength and vitality solely on its natural highly nourishing food whole milk.
Cotostrum contains more than 87 known healing and health benefiting componets. The full benefits can only be obtained by consuming the whole milk as it is
produced by the cow in its fresh, natural and total state.
There are five immunoglobulins consisting of IgA, lgG, lgE, lgM and lgD found in colostrum which serve to protect the health of the recipient by neutralizing
toxins, fighting viruses, bacteria and defending against allergens. Other immune-active compounds that boost the immune system are protein rich polypeptides, lactofemn and interleukins which work in various ways to
protect the body from serious pathogens.
Lactoferrin is a very important componet of colostrum. Lactoferrin is a protein capable of binding to iron and transferring it around the body to places of
activity without interference, where it is then released to perform the necessary processes. It should be made clear that ionic iron, floating free in the body is toxic and damaging to cells , DNA and RNA, but when
bound together with protein lactoferrin they will participate in the synthesis of heme(part of hemoglobin, the 02 transporter in the body) and in the participation of the production of defense systems in the body by
inhibiting or modifiying the growth and cell membranes of certain bacteria viruses and giardi if found in the body.
The milk fraction colostrum ingested and absorbed unchanged in its natural form has shown to be effective in aiding the healing of allergies, Candida,

bums, asthsma, auto-immune disorders, high cholesteral, arthritis, colds-flu, multiple sclerosis, imtable bowel syndrone, diabetes, stomach ulcers, hepatitis
C, rheumotoid arthritis, chronic fatique, fibro myalgia, low blood sugar and exzema. The milk fraction colostrum contains a structurally identical growth hormone to humans and when ingested will speed protein
synthesis and slow protein catabolism without adipose tissue build up ultimately leading to lean muscle mass.
Its effectiveness is maximized if ingested from healthy and properly fed cows without being altered at all. If commercialized it must be done by a special
process and a company that adheres to those standards. One such company and book review can be found below
